Patrick William Dansby
Patrick William Dansby passed away from this earthly life to his heavenly life on February 21, 2018.
Patrick was born on June 13, 1945 in Brady, Texas and graduated from San Angelo Lake View High School in 1963. He married Terry Hill December of 1963, and from this union two children were born.
Immediately after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy, and retired as a First-Class Chief Petty Officer after a career of 25 years. His retirement was among the U.S.S. Patrick returned to San Angelo and married the love of his life Michelle Songcuan. Pat and Michelle loved traveling, going to the Dallas Cowboy games, spending time with family and especially sharing their two best friends Bugsy and Pepe. Pat’s other hobbies included jogging, finding a casino, and the joy of riding his motorcycle from Texas to Mexicali, Mexico to Canada (The Three Flags Tour) annually.
Pat loved life and embraced it fearlessly. His biggest asset was his sense of humor and wit. He was gifted to bring laughter wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wellington and Kathryn Dansby; and one brother, Michael K. Dansby of Missouri City, TX.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Michelle Dansby; one daughter, Tamara Reed (Buddy) of Bastrop, TX; one son, Keith Dansby of Grand Falls, TX; one brother, Dan Dansby (Cathleen) of Plano, TX; one sister-in-law, Sherry Dansby of Missouri City, TX; one sister, Mignon Gammage (Gary) of San Angelo; his mother-in-law, Lynda McAdams of Huntsville, Alabama; one step daughter, Aja Birse of Ft.
