James Adrian (Jim) Lee passed away at 5:50 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the age of 78. Visitation will be held all day Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Shaffer Funeral Home in Bronte with family present 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Bronte with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Jimmy was born in Ballinger, Texas on March 23, 1939 to James Nedham Lee and Novella Nixon Lee. He married Carolyn Acuff Lee on August 15, 1969. He was a great Pops to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be greatly missed. He was a good person and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Lee; his grandson, Darin Burwick; and great granddaughter, Lillie Burwick.
Jimmy Lee is survived by his sister, Judy Coates; daughter, Tanya Burwick and husband Glenn; sons, Kent Lee and wife Phyllis, Tim Lee and wife Pam and Kyle Lee and wife Janna; daughter, Pam Hilliard; grandchildren, Racheal Burwick, Zac Burwick, Shay Burwick and Lindsey Brown, Brandi McBee, Kolt Lee, Kaleb Lee, Brent Lee, Kaitlin Lee, Ethan Lee, Jami Higgins, Cheyenne Lee and Chandra Lee; great grandchildren, Radin and Gabe Burwick, Addie and Mac Mitchell, Kaycie Brown, Hayden and Hadalee Higgins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be, Timmy Don Arrott, James Lynn Vaughn, Terry Poehls, Jeff Lee, and Billy Ren Lee.
