Obituary for Hubert Dee Jones

Hubert Dee Jones, of Knickerbocker passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Private memorial services will be held at a later. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way.
Hubert was born on June 14, 1932 to Edward Dee and Edna Florine Jones in Fort Davis, Texas. He was the most honest person there was. Hubert was always happy and was the rock of his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, his twin, Herbert, Vernon Jones who was killed in the battle of Iwo Jima, and Reverend Raymond Jones; his son, Jeff Meyers.
Hubert is survived by his wife, Jamie Jones of Knickerbocker; sister, Velma Ruth Sager of San Angelo; brother-in-law, Freddie Fields; granddaughter, Jamie Tate; special cousin, Wally Harkey; best friend, Carlos Torres; numerous other family members, too many to name.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Button and his family for always being there for Hubert and Jamie.
