ALMALENE FRANCES GALLAS DICKSON
SAN ANGELO ~ Almalene Frances Gallas Dickson, 81 passed away into the loving arms of our Lord and Saviour ,Jesus Christ on Monday, September 19,2016 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born September 21, 1934 to E.F. and Louise Gallas of Miles, Texas. She married Gene Dickson on March 31, 1953. Amy worked at Veribest Cattle Feeders with her husband for many years until she retired. She was a faithful member of Grape Creek Baptist Church and Joy Sunday School Class.
She was precede in death by her loving husband, Gene Dickson,; her parents, E.F. and Louise Gallas; brothers and sisters, Leroy Gallas, Clinton Gallas, Melvin Gallas , Ellen Elkins, Edna Marie Rice and Nelda Riddle.
She is survived by her son Doyle Dickson and wife Debra of Miles, TX; daughters Cindy Marburger of Miles, TX, Belinda Poehls and husband Jackie of Grape Creek; and daughter Penney Dickson of Missouri. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Lee and Melissa Dickson, Jarred Irby, Robert and J.J. Cagle and Justin Poehls and Brooke Longoria
She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Haley and Emily Cagle, Cole and Brilyn Dickson, and Mabrie Longoria and Mason Irby. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and their families.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Shaffer Funeral Home.
Services will be held at Grape Creek Baptist Church at 11:00a.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Grape Creek.
