Marvin was born on October 30, 1937 in Ranger, Texas to James and Willie Crawford. He married the love of his life, Wana Smith on August 27, 1974. He was a hard worker and was always busy. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator and spent many hours working to keep his yard looking beautiful. In his free time Marvin loved watching T.V. and even kept two going all the time. His favorites were Westerns and NCIS. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and always watched them on the big screen T.V. If the Cowboys started loosing then he would switch it to the small T.V. with no sound and go back to watching something else on the big T.V. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his parent.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Wana Crawford of Carlsbad; son, Kenneth Crawford and wife June of Carlsbad; brother, Lee Crawford; sisters, Deola Covington, Marie Burton and Connie Widner.
