AMAZING WOMAN!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I adopted Evelyn a few years ago. I went to the nursing home thinking I might get lucky and find a sweet elderly person to adopt. And sure enough, in the home, I heard a woman yelling, Lady? at me so I went over and spoke to her and found the most amazing blessing in Evelyn. She was loving and kind and just so full of wisdom! She shared with me on our visits about her parents, children ( I also have a daughter named Marlene) , her very favorite horse named Lucky who was fast but gentle, her mammy ( Jenny) and so many other wonderful stories! She always peeled up at the name Cody. Im guessing a grandson. She told me once that after school , she was explaining the constellations to Cody and he said to her, I love you all the way past the stars! That thrilled her even at her age, so many years later. She didnt like any food or drink unless it was chocolate and had to be just the right consistency or shed spit it out! Lol! I miss her so much .
The best thing she shared with me was when we talked about God. She was a true believer. That gives me great consolation bc I KNOW that sweet Evelyn is face to face with Almighty God right now. She was and will always be a great inspiration to me. God was good enough to let me find her a few years back and I wouldnt trade my time with her for anything. I love you , Evelyn!!!! Ill see your beautiful face again some day!
